How to Use Sublimation Transfer Paper for Mugs

This sublimation mug printing instructions will guide you how to sublimate a glass mug. in order to mug sublimation you will need the following.

Pre-requisite:

1. Mug with poly-coating (Do not use an ordinary mug)
2. Inkjet printer with a piezo printhead
3. Ink for sublimation printing
4. Mug transfer machine (Heat press machine module)
5. Sublimation Paper
6. Paper cutter

Process:

• Create an image with proper dimensions
• Check printing side of sublimation paper
• Print image with a proper setting on sublimation paper
• Cut the image as per the size of the mug
• Switch on machine
• Set 345 Deg. F temperature with the temperature setting
• Set time 90 Sec with the time setting
• Wait till the temperature reaches to set value
• Fix the paper on to the mug tightly with thermal tape at the corner of the paper
• Once the temperature reaches to set value, place the mug inside the machine and press the machine.
• The timer will start now.
• Wait for the set value of time.
• Release the pressed mug from the machine.
• Remove the paper carefully as it is hot.
• Wash the mug with water.
• Now the object is ready to  use
