In this post we will discuss the steps on how to load roll paper in the Epson Surecolor P800 printer, keep the following in mind:
- The first step is to attach the role media adapter to the printer.
- Remove the spindle and locate the flat hooks on the top of the adapter.
- Position the adapters to the left and right hooks point towards the printer.
- Using the orange arrows as a guide carefully align both hooks into the slots and lower the adapter unit.
- On the bottom of the adapter align the thumb screws to the holes and tighten them to secure the unit.
- Open the rear tray but do not extend the support
- Next attach the roll paper to the spindle.
- If you're using a 3-inch core roll of paper, make sure the gray adapters are attached.
- Facing the front of the printer remove the black left side mount and load the paper overhand with the grey mount on the right.
- Securely attach the black mount to the left side.
- With the grey mount on the right gently place the spindle into the adapter.
- Keeping the paper in the overhand position.
- Align the paper so it is flush and straight on the right.
- Slowly feed the paper into the roll paper path opening until the screen changes and the load button appears.
- Press Load.
- The printer will begin to load the paper and make sure that it's aligned correctly.
- You are now ready to print when you're finished printing unload the roll paper.
- To unload the roll paper push the cut eject button on the front panel.
- Select Eject.
- Roll the paper back and put it back in the original packaging.
- Push continue on the front panel to clear the message.
